EV SAFECHARGER FAQ
1. Requirements for using the EV SAFECHARGER application
Download the APP from our developer accounts on Google Play or App Store (EV Safecharger). During installation of the APP, all permissions required by the application should be enabled. The Bluetooth function and the camera function must also be enabled. These functions are required during the installation of the APP.
Communication between the phone and the software does not collect information about the user’s location. The two permissions mentioned above can be disabled when the APP is not in use.
2. How to add a charging station to the EV SAFECHARGER application
After installing the application, create a user account.
To add a charger, click the “Add charging station” button on the application’s home page, or add a charging station using the “+” button.
Follow the guide in the application.
3. Can multiple applications be connected to the same charging station at the same time?
Yes, but the charging station can only be bound to one user account (this account becomes the main user).
If other users want to use the same charging station, the main user must share the station with them through the application using the sharing function.
4. Can there be multiple charging stations in one application?
Yes, follow step 2 and add as many charging stations to the application as needed.
A charging station can also be shared with you by another user.
You can switch between charging stations by simply pressing the arrow left or right.
5. How to start charging? 💡
After unpacking the wallbox from the box, it is in the default mode – Simple Mode ⚡ Plug Charger.
Just connect the charging plug to the car and charging will start.
Charging can be stopped either from the car’s onboard system or automatically when the battery is fully charged.
If you want to control the wallbox using the mobile application or RFID cards, you must switch the charging mode in the EV SAFECHARGER mobile application to ⚡ App Launched (Pile Settings → Charge Mode).
Now you can fully use the EV SAFECHARGER application and all its features.
6. Can the charging current be set?
YES.
Either manually on the front panel of the charger in steps 6, 10, 16, 32 A,
or via the application in the range 6–32 A in steps of 1 A.
(Menu: Charging station settings → Charging environment → Charging current)
7. Is the charging process and abnormal information recorded?
Yes. The application creates records about charging start, charging end, amount of energy, and possible system abnormalities.
Charging logs are also available for all wallbox users and can be exported into a table for further use or cost allocation.
